Caspar California Information

The small village of Caspar California is located just north of the village of Mendocino and south of the city of Fort Bragg. The village is just off of Highway One, right beside the Pacific Ocean in the County of Mendocino. Because of the town's small size and friendly people, it has a strong sense of community. Please visit the Caspar Community Center's website to learn more about it. Most people don't think of Casparas a travel destination when going to Mendocino. Travelers will choose to overlook the town and go directly to the immensely popular location of Mendocino. But don't let that discourage you. The area does have a few great stops including the Caspar Headlands, the Point Cabrillo Lighthouse, a nice inn and restaurant, a campground and a few galleries as well. One of the events that is held here every year in August is the Caspar World Folk Festival. The festival provides fun for all and is highly recommended.
