The Griffin House is located on the Mendocino Coast and was built around 1890, along with Bridget Dolan's Pub, which was once the main house. Along with our 1920's cottages, visit our inn - nestled high on the cliffs overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Just four hours and a century away from San Francisco - it's the perfect getaway you've been looking for.

    - A hearty breakfast is delivered daily to your room between 8:30 and 9:30 am. This is a full spread, featuring fresh fruit, juices, breads, a variety of egg and meat dishes and your favorite hot beverage.

    - Invitingly comfortable beds
    - Plush bathrobes for use in your cottage
    - Wood burning stoves with wood provided

The Griffin House Inn is a non-smoking facility, but decks and outdoor areas are designated for smoking.

Oceanfront cottages cannot accomodate children under the age of 12.

Children of all ages are welcome in the garden cottages.

Our menu offers a wide array of appetizers from grilled shrimp & scallops to garlic & brie. Our entrees include many favorites such as traditional "bangers and mash" to ribs, pizzas, burgers, and more. Be sure to visit our menus page!

When available, our salads and herbs are picked fresh from our garden with the finest of care, as well as beautiful floral arrangements created daily to grace our tables.

We prepare fresh foods daily, such as our soups, sauces, dressings, desserts, and our famous guacamole and fresh in-house fried chips.

Our fabulous desserts may include such treats as bread pudding, flourless chocolate raspberry cake, pies, ice cream and more. And our beverages "at the Pub" include many fine local wines, ports, and domestic or imported beers on tap -- or by the bottle.
