Come and stay with us and see the incredible North Coast region of California! The lodging consists of four cottages, just two minutes south of Fort Bragg and six minutes north of Mendocino village. The cottages can be rented separately or rent them all for groups up to twenty-three people. As you drive up our llamas are the first to greet you and possibly our border collie Sam-I-Am. As you see we are pet friendly. LLamas are amazing and wonderful animals, you can handle them and get to know one better by taking one of our unique Lama Treks.This is a wonderful way to see and experience our beautiful coast. Guests can rent Cypress Cottage, Alder Cottage, Garden Water Tower and Captain Jack's for large groups or family reunions and sleep a total of twenty-three people. Well behaved pets are welcome (with an additional pet-cleaning fee) but must be stated at time of making reservation. Smoking is not allowed.

Cypress Cottage is a rustic charming three-bedroom vacation rental which can accommodate up to eight people, with one queen, one king, and twin bunk beds, plus a queen-sized sleeper sofa. It has a full kitchen with all the amenities and a comfortable living room with upholstered reading chairs and beautiful (gas) fireplace.

An attached sunroom provides a cozy spot for lazy morning breakfasts, afternoon naps, or even moonlit dinners. A landscaped garden surrounds the cottage with an abundance of flowers, shrubs, and trees. A private spa sits in the garden just outside the sunroom where you can soak up the warmth on a cool coastal night.

Alder cottage is a fully furnished cottage that sleeps seven in the same beautiful garden setting as Cypress Cottage. The master suite features a king bed and master bath. The second bedroom features a queen bed. There is a sleeper sofa and rollaway in the large living room, along with a pool table. There is also a large private spa outside.

You can simply relax and enjoy the cottages' peaceful surroundings, or use the lodgings as a base from which to see our many local attractions. There are State Parks and beaches within short drives, Mendocino village is minutes away, and the spectacular 47-acre Mendocino Coast Botanical Gardens is within walking distance. The Gardens offers mature plantings of native California plants and shrubs -- including a wonderful collection of rhododendrons -- and a short hike can take you out onto a wide ocean bluff where you can spread a blanket for a picnic lunch while taking in views of the ruggedly beautiful Pacific coastline.

Captain Jack's is a park model vacation home located in the Noyo Harbor Basin with beautiful views of the Pacific ocean. There is a nearby beach you can easily walk to on your way as you pass by the jetty you may see fish being caught or seal sunning on the rocks. The park also has an onsite boat dock, tie-up for boats is available at no charge. The dock sits high above the waterline so the use of a ladder will be necessary.

There are several restaurants in the immediate area, where you can enjoy anything from a casual lunch to a fine dining experience.

There are also a few shops an studios along the basin as well as boat charters for fishing and whale watching. For the more adventurous you can even rent a kayak from the nearby scuba shop and paddle up the Noyo River. On your journey you may encounter seals, sea lions and an occasional osprey overhead. All of this within easy walking distance of your cabin!

Our new unique two story water tower is a fully furnished cottage with a pond view. It has a full bath which features a very roomy 6 foot whirlpool tub with jets. Upstairs in the loft you will find a very comfortable queen size feather bed. The cozy living room has a Futon that also makes into a hide-a-bed. This charming cottage will sleep 2-4 adults. You can just relax and sit by the glass front stove or if you decide to venture out into the private courtyard you can look out at the pond and beautiful wooded surroundings.

Our converted water tower still has remnants of the original structure and exposed beams. The bar top and window seat are carved from old growth Redwood found here on the Mendocino coast. These features have created a very interesting effect throughout the entire water tower.

Llamas Treks:

We offer two llama treks in the Mendocino Coast area. All are led by experienced guides and accompanied by our well-trained and friendly pack llamas. Our llamas can carry anything you might want to bring along, such as extra clothing, cameras, or art supplies, leaving you unburdened to meander along at an easy pace seldom enjoyed on extended hikes. Treks can be tailored to your desires, from napping on the beach to spending hours painting a waterfall.
