Since 1980, Greenwood Ridge Vineyards has developed a reputation for producing award-winning estate bottled Pinot Noir, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, White Riesling and Late Harvest White Riesling. In addition to our estate bottled wines, we have also developed a following for our Sauvignon Blanc and Zinfandel. Greenwood Ridge Vineyards has been named one of America's top 30 wineries by Wine and Spirits Magazine three times in recent years and we continually receive Best of Show awards at major wine competitions.

Since 1980, Greenwood Ridge Vineyards has built a reputation for producing world class wines in small lots (total annual production is only 2500 cases). Since 2005, the solar panels on the winery roof (above photo) have provided all the electricity required by the winery, and more.

Moving the cap (grape skins that have risen to the surface during fermentation) from the fermenter to the press in buckets eliminates the use of a pump which can tear the skins and produce harsh tannins. This is an example of a detail which contributes to the soft, silky texture of our wines.
