Basecamp Valhalla

Welcome to “Basecamp Valhalla!” A lofty setting above the little village of Anchor Bay, gazing through coastal redwoods at the ocean. The interior of this great get-away is styled for civilized relaxing for the most intrepid explorer. Rugged touches, and fun artwork add to the sense that you are definitely on vacation!

The kitchen is very well equipped and roomy enough for everyone to get in on the action. Satellite TV, great entertainment system and Internet access combined with the gas heatstove in the livingroom will make ‘roughing it’ very very easy.

First bedroom has queen bed and en suite full bathroom, plus slider to the view deck. Second bedroom has 2 twins which can easily be used as a single king-size bed. Second full bathroom in the hall. The hot tub is perched above the hillside and is private.

Access to Anchor Bay beach is included! Great for boogie boarding, ab diving, tidepooling, or simply a relaxing afternoon at the shore. It’s a short walk to the trail!

Oden’s Ohana

Bring your family to Oden’s (chief Norse god) Ohana (Hawaiian for “family”) located just a couple miles north of Gualala. Come… Unwind…. Relax… The beach access is just a short hike away, there are tons of hiking trails in the area and you can also kayak the Gualala river. This home is a wonderful 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom cabin with a shower stall in the master bathroom and a claw foot tub in the other bathroom. The hot tub on the deck also offers soothing blue water ocean views.

Enjoy some good old fashion family time. Read a book, watch that classic movie, or do a puzzle — there is comfortable seating for it all!

The spacious table on the deck also provides a wonderful eating area, with the door just off of the kitchen/living room.

Holmes

Early Sea Ranchers got to select from among some of the best meadow locations. The Holmes house is no exception. This west meadow site on Bluff Reach boasts extraordinary white water ocean views, as well as a vast expanse of pastoral open space.
Spacious ocean view deck opens the whole upstairs for outdoor living.

Upstairs has king bedroom and full bath. Downstairs has king bedroom and twin bedroom. All bedrooms have the same great outdoor views. The downstairs bathroom has a stall shower. Enjoy the new flat screen TV and wifi available for pay-by-use service by credit card at this great beach house.

This home is a classic Sea Ranch design, in a classic setting. Whether you are new to “The Ranch” or come every year, you’ll love this traditional escape.

Brisas del Mar

Brisas del Mar.” Just imagine gentle breezes, the sound of the surf on the sandbar below, and the fresh fragrance of sea air with a hint of fir and pines. Then, as you enter this simple-looking home, you discover the rich warmth and sizzle of a sophisticated villa. Blending the north-coast surrounding with a Tuscan-influenced interior, Brisas del Mar presents a delightfully different experience. Custom touches, classy finishes, and some very fine furnishings all make this home a relaxing, and easy place to unwind and restore. Fall 2011 brought the addition of complimentary wifi throughout the home!

All bedrooms feature hypo-allergenic down-alternative pillows and comforters. Guest bedroom has queen bed, seating area, TV, and ensuite bathroom with stall shower. Second bedroom also has a queen bed. The master bedroom has a huge European king-size bed. Master bath has a soaking tub and separate shower. Satellite TV, DVD, 5-CD stereo with wall-mounted speakers.

Guests can use the garage. Enjoy the new propane BBQ in the back yard. You will need a calling card for long-distance calls. Your Verizon cell phone MAY work at the house, but other carriers typically will not have coverage here. Children are welcome. NO PETS. Maximum of six occupants.
