Our Inn

First, the name.  Many people wonder how to say "Baechtel."  We hear many versions such as "Beach tel" or "Bach tel;" however, it is actually pronounced "Beck tel".  We are named for the Baechtel Creek which runs right behind our property.

Baechtel Creek Inn welcomed our first guests in April of 1991. We are a family owned business that stumbled into the hotel business by accident and have stayed because of you, our guests. In 2004 we saw the need for Day Spa services in Mendocino County and opened the Body Boutique at Baechtel Creek Inn. We chose Eminence Organic Skin Care because it best reflected the natural organic spirit of our County. After we added The Spa, we completely rennovated our rooms to give our guests a more personalized travel experience. We feel like we are a work in progress, always seeking ways to improve and update our look and feel.

In October 2008, Baechtel Creek Inn became a proud member of Choice Hotel's Ascend Collection. The Ascend Collection is Choice Hotel's newest network of historic, boutique or unique hotels. We share a passion for delivering attentive service to our guests seeking a more experiential, individualized travel experience that gives them a sense of local flavor.

Our hotel is nestled on a quiet creek-side setting, one turn off Hwy 101,  and features The Spa at Baechtel Creek,' open daily and offering unparalleled luxury and relaxation with a selection of treatments. We offer a variety of waxing services. As well as eyelash & eyebrow tinting and full makeup applications. Please call for prices.

Facilities
The Spa at Baechtel Creek Inn offers a soothing reception room, two indoor treatment rooms, and our Steamy Wonder steam tent which can be added to any massage or body treatment for $25.00.

Infrared Sauna                                                                                                                                                                                           We are pleased to offer our Sunlighten Infrared Sauna as part of our Hotel & Spa facilities.  20 minutes in our Sauna comes with a bottle of water and towels.  Call for prices.

Pool & Hot Tub
Use of the pool and hot tub are complimentary for hotel guests anytime; walk-in guests are welcome to use the pool and hot tub with the purchase of any one hour spa treatment.

What To Wear
You will be provided with a robe when you arrive at the Spa. During all treatments, your body is fully draped, except for the area being worked on.  You will need a swimsuit for the pool and hot tub.

Cancellation Policy                                                                                                                                                                             There is a 4 hrs cancellation policy required for all spa treatments. A 50% of service NO SHOW fee will be charged if notice is not given.

Please Note:

All of our massage providers and aestheticians are professionally certified. If you are uncomfortable with your treatment for any reason such as room temperature, depth of massage, music volume, please let your therapist know during your treatment so they can make you as comfortable as possible.  Smoking, pagers and cell phones are not permitted at the Spa. Gratuities are not included in the treatment price, but are always appreciated for outstanding service.
