Creekside Cabins and RV Resort is located in Northern California on HWY 101 in Willits, California. Our RV Campground is at the Gateway to the Redwoods and is a full service camping resort. Our California campground has 50 wooded RV and Tent Sites and is located in Mendocino County. Our RV resort has both tent sites and RV spaces.  Guests can stay for a night, weekend, week or month.  Attractions include the Redwoods, Skunk Train, Wine Country, Mendocino Museum, and relaxation by the creek.  Local lakes and the Pacific Ocean are within 20-30 miles for fishing or water fun. All recreation is within a easy drive from our park. Our campground is a Good Sam park. To make a reservation please call us at 707-459-2521.

There are many things to see and do in the area as Mendocino county is noted for its rich history and natural beauty. A town rich in history with beautiful scenery, from rolling hills to picturesque ranches dotting the landscape. Named after Hiram Willits, it was settled by pioneering ranchers in the 1850's. Willits is the eastern terminus of the world famous "Skunk Train" which thousands of travelers continue to enjoy and ride each year.

Attractions

The Skunk Train has been a favorite attraction of tourists for decades. Hop on board and take a ride through history. Along the way cross 30 bridges and pass through 2 tunnels.

The Mendacino Coast features some of the most breathtaking coastline in California. Whether it is to drive the coastline or go deep sea fishing or whale watching - its all here for you

Take a step back in time and tour the historic Ridgewood Ranch. Visit the special place that Seabiscuit, the amazing champion racehorse called home!  

Take a hike in Redwood National Park and walk amongst the ancient redwood trees. Redwood National Park contains the tallest living things on earth, evergreen trees that grow to 350 feet

Willits Frontier Days is the oldest continuous rodeo in the State of California and the  major annual 4th of July event.

Fort Bragg, California, is a well-known port for sport salmon fishing, due to our ability to catch salmon within 20 minutes of leaving the harbor!
