HOME BASE FOR ALL MENDOCINO COUNTY HAS TO OFFER !

Not only is our cozy little cabin a perfect hideaway for a weekend or a week, but it is also the ideal home base for exploration of scenic Mendocino and Lake Counties.

Our privately owned and operated guest cottage is located 3 hours north of the San Francisco Bay area on Hwy 101 in the small coastal mountain community of Willits, CA. We're 2 hours south of Eureka and 1 hour from Fort Bragg and the beautiful Mendocino Coast.

Locally, our cabin is within easy walking distance to the Willits depot of the historic Skunk Train, Willits' shops, art galleries, cafes, and bakeries. The movie theater, live performance community theater, parks, historical museum, library, rodeo and fairgrounds, swimming pool, and tennis courts also afford diverse modes of recreation. We are three miles from Brooktrails golf course where you can golf under huge redwood trees. There are nearby areas for hiking, horseback riding, and fishing. Willits also features churches, farmers' market, supermarkets, a hospital, a small airport, and a local casino!

Ridgewood Ranch, south of Willits, is the home of the famous race horse, SeaBiscuit.

The community of Willits hosts a number of yearly events, including the Celtic Faire, the Memorial Day Weekend Antique Car Show, and the Frontier Days Parade and Rodeo.

Although within walking distance to town, this clean and comfortable mill worker cabin, built in the 1930's and remodeled in 1989, is snugly nestled in a private wooded area. Willits Creek winds its way through towering old bay, alder, oak and madrone woods providing the ideal environment for relaxation and nature loving.

 

RATES

The cabin is available for rent year round. We do require a two night minimum on holiday weekends.

(9% Transient Occupancy Tax will be added to all rates.)


Nightly

Single Occupancy - $100 plus tax

Double Occupancy - $120 plus tax

Additional persons (limit 4) $20 plus tax each per night

No charge for children under 18.

(6 persons maximum)


Weekly (7 nights)

Single Occupancy - $565 plus tax

Double Occupancy - $675 plus tax

For additional persons add $25 for each to weekly rate
