Watch our busy bakers or bring your lap top and hang out, (we provide free WiFi for our customers). The Mendocino Cookie Co. is proudly owned and run by the same local family since 1984. We are open 7 days a week, but if you can't come to the coast for a fix, we ship cookies nationwide! In the heart of scenic Mendocino   Village (three hours north of the   Golden Gate Bridge on the edge of   the Pacific Ocean), the Mendocino    Cookie Company was founded in  1984.

  Our family owned business  specializes in gourmet cookies and a  variety of tempting baked goods.  A local favorite for coffee and espresso drinks in town . Fifteen different varieties of award winning cookies are baked daily guaranteeing freshness.  A wide variety of muffin choices get your motor running early in the morning, including fat free & egg-less varieties Seven different types of scones, Croissants both plain and filled, as well as a variety of other delicious pastries will certainly brighten anyone's day. Try our coffee, tea, espresso, lattes, cappuccinos, chai, and mochas. Each drink is made to your individual taste. The Mendocino Cookie Company proudly serves Peerless coffee which was voted number one by the San Francisco Chronicle. With so much to offer you can begin and end your day with a stop at the Mendocino Cookie Company.When the Mendocino Cookie Company opened its doors, Beverlee Younger was in the kitchen with her household mixer, baking cookies a dozen or so at a time. That first summer, husband Don and son John assisted but when winter came, Beverlee ran the Cookie Company single-handed. We've come a long way from the tiny kitchen in a 350 square foot shop. Today, daughter Wendy runs our retail operation. Beverlee supervises the mail order operation and enjoys working in her 1,000 square foot dream kitchen.
The original Mendocino Cookie Company Shop was located in a converted filling station in the heart of scenic Mendocino Village, on the edge of the Pacific Ocean. Our current shop was established in 1998 in Fort Bragg, located fifteen minutes north of Mendocino.

Enjoy our award winning Cookies baked daily.  Other fresh baked offerings include Scones, Muffins, Croissants, and Pastries.
