Go for a private ride on spectacular Manchester Beach's miles of unspoiled sand and surf. Rocks, driftwood, creeks, birds and seastacks dot this vast expanse of beach. The Ross Ranch is a family business owned and operated by John and Tobi Ross, life long residents of the Mendocino Coast. We have excellent horses that are matched to your riding abilities. Our horses receive the finest care and enjoy each ride.

Mountain rides:    $60 for two hours
                                $50 for two hours

230 pound weight limit per rider.
All rides are guided by one the owners.
Minimum rider age is 6 years.
Only 2 children under the age of 10 years per group.
Women who are expecting cannot go on the ride.
We can now take a party as large as 11 people together.
Ask about group discounts
Exceptions can be made for children with riding experience or maturity.
No open toed shoes or shorts please.
Usual ride times are 10am 12noon & 2pm.
Call for reservations in the early morning or evening. Make reservations before you arrive to ensure space. 2 days notice required for cancellation due to reasons other than weather.
